| Building Regulations
Hardwood Conservatories offer a true traditional design with
an authentic look. For listed buildings, this is the only
material that will be approved, although double glazing will
in most instances be allowed.
With the advent of modern micro-porous stain and paint finishes,
maintenance of a hardwood conservatory, though still required,
will be kept to a minimum.
 |
When choosing a conservatory,
other than choosing the style to suit your property and
proposed use, there are a number of points you should
look at in depth. A conservatory can be split into three
areas, Building work,
Roof and side
Window frames. |
To ensure that your conservatory will be fit for purpose
each of these three sections needs to be gone over thoroughly,
to make sure that essential items to the long term integrity
of the structure and every day usability have not been left
out. Having the work done properly in the first place has
a value many times greater than the saving you might make
with a company that is prepared to cut corners to appear to
be able to offer a cheaper price.
This is why we have given each of these sections their own
page to ensure that you will be in a position to make a fully
informed decision when making your choice of which company
to carry out the work. Don’t forget to make use of our
